Kingfisher Gin · Cyprus
Cyprus’s first gin, still made in Kato Platres.
Kingfisher Gin was introduced in 2019. Twenty-eight Cypriot botanicals are distilled separately with juniper, then blended into a bright, aromatic London Dry gin.
A Cyprus gin
Built botanical by botanical.
Kingfisher begins with juniper, then draws its sense of place from a wide botanical palette. Citrus zest gives lift; lavender and rose add floral detail; rosemary and mint bring the herbal freshness of the island.
Rather than forcing every botanical through a single distillation, LionSpirit distils the components separately with juniper before blending. That gives the distillery control over balance and keeps the finished gin clear in character.
Introduced in 2019 as the first gin made in Cyprus, Kingfisher remains an active part of the LionSpirit range. It is made and bottled at the working distillery in Kato Platres.

Kingfisher London Dry
Citrus, floral notes and Mediterranean herbs.
The style is bright and aromatic rather than heavy: juniper at the centre, citrus on top, followed by lavender, rose, rosemary and mint. Serve it with a good tonic and a simple citrus garnish.
The wider Kingfisher family also includes Pink Gin, while Juniper Gin offers a more direct, juniper-led expression. All can be explored alongside LionSpirit’s other spirits at the winery.
