A family winery in Cyprus, rooted in Kato Platres.
Our family has made wine in Kato Platres for more than 350 years. The winery once known as Lambouri is now LionSpirit, with the same mountain home and a wider range to share.
Our winery team hosts every tasting. Meet us in Kato Platres to explore the wine and spirits, or book a guided visit to the working distillery and barrel cellars.
We established the distillery in 2018, introduced Cyprus’s first gin in 2019 and its first whisky in early 2022. Both remain part of our range today. In September 2019, our Commandaria Apollonia 1998 was served in Lufthansa First Class.

Cyprus wines & Commandaria.
Our Cyprus winery brings together indigenous grapes and a cellar tradition passed through generations. Discover fresh Xynisteri, rare Vasilissa and Promara, and the deeper character of Maratheftiko alongside our other Cyprus wines.
Then explore Commandaria, Cyprus’s historic sweet wine. Sun-dried grapes and oak ageing give it a character of its own, while former Commandaria casks connect our wine cellar to our whisky and brandy.
